With   stunning   views   across   the   Severn   Valley   to   the   Brown Clee,   Valley   View   is   one   of   the   clubs   most   popular   venues.   At 1¼   acres   the   pool   is   small   however   three   small   islands   and   two fingers   of   land   allow   anglers   to   have   their   own   piece   of   water without   disturbing   others.   The   venue   used   to   be   match   fished and   as   such   there   are   a   wide   range   of   species   present.   The `usual`    stillwater    species    can    be    found    here    as    well    as    a healthy   population   of   gudgeon   and   lots   of   chub.   No   pike   are present   so   the   perch   have   become   the   top   predator   and   there are some large specimens in the lake. Valley   View   falls   into   the   `fun`   category.   Sport   can   be   frantic when   using   light   float   tactics   and   it   is   the   perfect   venue   to   teach youngsters   to   fish.   The   carp   grow   to   mid   double   but   they   give   a good   account   of   themselves   and   respond   well   to   floater   tactics, in   fact   Valley   View   is   the   perfect   venue   to   target   carp   using   a   fly rod! Valley   View   fishes   well   all   year   round   and   is   the   ideal   place   to visit   in   the   depths   of   winter   when   you   need   a   bend   in   the   rod. Access   to   the   venue   is   excellent   and   parking   is   within   20yds   of the pool.
