With
stunning
views
across
the
Severn
Valley
to
the
Brown
Clee,
Valley
View
is
one
of
the
clubs
most
popular
venues.
At
1¼
acres
the
pool
is
small
however
three
small
islands
and
two
fingers
of
land
allow
anglers
to
have
their
own
piece
of
water
without
disturbing
others.
The
venue
used
to
be
match
fished
and
as
such
there
are
a
wide
range
of
species
present.
The
`usual`
stillwater
species
can
be
found
here
as
well
as
a
healthy
population
of
gudgeon
and
lots
of
chub.
No
pike
are
present
so
the
perch
have
become
the
top
predator
and
there
are some large specimens in the lake.
Valley
View
falls
into
the
`fun`
category.
Sport
can
be
frantic
when
using
light
float
tactics
and
it
is
the
perfect
venue
to
teach
youngsters
to
fish.
The
carp
grow
to
mid
double
but
they
give
a
good
account
of
themselves
and
respond
well
to
floater
tactics,
in
fact
Valley
View
is
the
perfect
venue
to
target
carp
using
a
fly
rod!
Valley
View
fishes
well
all
year
round
and
is
the
ideal
place
to
visit
in
the
depths
of
winter
when
you
need
a
bend
in
the
rod.
Access
to
the
venue
is
excellent
and
parking
is
within
20yds
of
the pool.
