Where To Stay
For
decades
anglers
have
been
visiting
the
beautiful
Severn
Valley
market
town
of
Bridgnorth
to
experience
the
brilliant
fishing
as
well
as
take
in
some
of
the
local
history.
Local
tourist
destinations
include
the
Severn
Valley
Steam
Railway
and
the
unique
Cliff
Railway.
A
few
miles
away
is
the
historic
town
of
Ironbridge
with
its
famous
bridge
and
museums
chronicling
the
Industrial Revolution.
Barbel Alley
Located
in
the
hamlet
of
Hampton
Loade,
Barbel
Alley
is
only
150yds
from
the
top
of
the
Kinver
Freeliners
day
ticket
section.
The
owner,
Barry
Penn,
is
a
member
of
the
club
and
an
avid
angler
who
fishes
the
river
regularly
so
knows
the
stretch
intimately.
Barry
is
always
willing
to
help
and
offer
advice
on
current
baits
and
methods.
For
anglers
visiting
the
river
from
afar,
this
first
hand
knowledge
goes
a
long
way
to
ensuring
a
successful and productive trip.
Unicorn Inn
Situated
on
the
right
bank
of
the
river
Severn
six
miles
down
stream
from
Bridgnorth
the
Unicorn
offers
camping,
bed
&
breakfast as well as self catering cottages.
The
fishing
rights
on
the
300
yard
camping
field
are
owned
by
the
Kinver
Freeliners
with
day
tickets
available
on
the
bank
from
the
bailiff.
The
Unicorn
stretch
is
very
popular,
especially
during
the
summer,
and
with
good
reason.
Excellent
fishing
is
to
be
had
and
the
visiting
angler
can
set
up
their
home
for
the
holiday
within
yards
of
the
river.

The Dinney
Offering
stunning
views
of
the
Severn
Valley,
The
Dinney
is
located
near
to
the
village
of
Chelmarsh
on
the
right
bank
of
the
river Seven four miles south of Bridgnorth.
